02 / FOLLOW

Review assignments, completions, reported lesson stages and active training time. Export a CSV for your records.

PROGRESS WORTH RECOGNIZING

Encourage learning.
Not rushing.

The organization leaderboard recognizes assigned levels completed and on-time completion. Speed does not determine rank.

NEW · INCLUDED WITH COMPANY PLANS

A clearer starting point
for every new hire.

Find knowledge gaps before you plan onboarding. Department Heads and Supervisors can create a trade-knowledge assessment around the role, with safety included every time.

Enter the candidate’s name, position and assessment date, then generate their access code. Save reusable module selections for roles you hire regularly.

A knowledge-screening tool, not a trade certification or an automatic hiring decision. Pair results with an interview and a supervised practical assessment.

A FEW USEFUL DETAILS

Before you get started.

Need a hand choosing? Visit Support or send us a request.

Can I try the training first?

Yes. Levels 1 and 2 are free to try without an account. Sign in to save completion and receive a certificate. Company plans include access to all ten levels and manager tools. Schools and companies can also request a free 30 day pilot.

Can I subscribe just for myself?

Yes. The Individual plan is $299 per year for one person: all ten levels, your own training workspace, certificates and a printable training record. It renews yearly until you cancel, and company manager tools are not included.

Do managers need a seat?

Yes. Department Heads and Supervisors use seats and can take the training themselves. Department Heads see the organization; Supervisors see the groups assigned to them.

What does active training time mean?

It counts activity reported while a lesson is open and being used, excluding detected idle time. Stage and time reporting are training indicators, not a measure of real-world competence or employee productivity.

Does a certificate qualify someone to work on equipment?

A certificate records completion of a Controls Trainer lesson. Workplace authorization, equipment-specific instruction and practical assessment remain with the employer. Read our Standards & Compliance page.

How long is a certificate valid?

Certificates of completion are valid for 12 months from the date you pass the level; pass it again to renew. With a paid subscription or a company plan, certificates for Levels 3–10 also need that subscription to be active.

Do I need a physical PLC or special software?

The simulations run in a web browser. A desktop or laptop is recommended for detailed wiring and editor exercises.
