FREE HANDS-ON EXERCISES
ExercisesLearn the basics. Then try a real panel.
Short, hands-on practice for anyone new to industrial electrical work and PLCs. Start with the meter, then build ladder logic and run it.

Are these exercises free?
Yes. All six exercises are free, need no account, and work on a phone or a computer.
Which exercise should I start with?
New to electrical work? Start with how to read a multimeter, then 3 phase voltage and the lockout tagout procedure. For PLCs, start with XIC and XIO, then the seal-in circuit, then the quiz buzzer.
Do I get a certificate?
Not for the exercises. They’re quick practice. Certificates come from the training levels: Levels 1 and 2 are free with a free account.
How long does each exercise take?
About 3 to 5 minutes. Each one explains why when you get a step wrong, and you can run it again as often as you like.
PUT IT TOGETHER
Ready for a real panel?
Level 1 uses all of it: lock out a motor starter panel, prove zero energy with the meter, wire the control circuit, then read the PLC program that runs the motor. It's free.
Training practice only. Always follow your site's written energy control procedure, your employer's authorization rules and your meter maker's instructions on real equipment.
